City of Sin:  Jealousy

“Want some more M &M’s?”  Hannibal asked Drake, offering the bag.  They’d just finished shopping inside the M & M store on the Las Vegas strip.  They were heading back to the Venetian.  Having just made their first swipe of the strip and needing to rest.  At least Hannibal needed to rest.  He felt like they’d walk for miles and miles, his feet hurt.

Drake inspecting his Green M & M pillow looked up at Hannibal, crinkling his nose as he shook his head.

“No, one was enough.”

Hannibal chuckled softly as they walked, deftly sidestepping a group of drunk college kids.  At least they looked like college kids.  Well, anyway they were drunk.  “To sweet for you?”

Drake gave him a smile that make Hannibal’s cheeks flush a bring pink beneath his beard.  “There are other things much sweeter that I prefer, Hannibal King.”

Hannibal swallowed heavily.  “Oh, man. I…I wish you wouldn’t talk like that when we’re in public.”

Drake’s smile deepened.  “Why…” he asked, moving closer to whisper into Hannibal’s ear.  is that?”

Hannibal swallowed again.  “C…Cause it makes me wanna jump you.”

“What’s stopping you?”

“Well, for one thing we’re out in public.”

Drake moved closer.  Close enough for his human to feel the warmth of his skin and smell his scent.  Which he knew drove Hannibal crazy.  “So?”

Hannibal looked at him sideways.  “Oh, Man you’re really bad.  Let’s go back to the hotel.”

Drake looked out at the people around them.  “Why?  I like being amongst all these humans. Something I never though I would enjoy. Until now I mostly thought of them as food.”

“Drake?”

“What?” The vampire answered distractedly as he watched a tall, blue eyed-blond walking toward them.

Hannibal saw the blond as well.  And she sure as hell saw Drake.  He rolled his eyes as he watched her stick her chest out all that much more.  Short, shorts and a tank top?  How could she be walking around like that?  Must be at least 40 degrees out.

Hannibal frowned when he noticed Drake eyeing her as if she were a choice piece of meat.  “Drake?”  he said uneasily.

Drake took his eyes off the blond, who’d stopped walking and was staring at the vampire appreciatively.  “What?”

“Can we go back to the hotel now?”

“Yes.”

Hannibal frowned at the blond.  Reaching down he picked up Drake’s left hand.  “Married,” he said, showing the brightly sparking gold ring.

The girl frowned, with an annoyed huff she quickly disappeared into the crowd.

Drake looked down at the hand Hannibal was holding.  “I thought you did not want public displays of affection.”

Hannibal quickly dropped the hand.  “Hmm, she was getting to close.”

Drake chuckled softly.  “I was not going to do anything, Hannibal King.  My hands are full enough with just you.”

“Yeah?”  Hannibal asked happily. “Really?”

“Yes, you are all I can handle.  Not to say that I wouldn’t want to at a further date.”

Hannibal frowned. “What is that suppose to mean?”

Drake didn’t answer. Instead leading his human back toward their hotel with a final chuckle.

Hannibal checked the sleeping kitten.  Making sure he was still breathing.  The kitten would remain asleep until they found a place to stay that wasn’t a hotel.  He’d be easier to hid that way.  Then Drake would wake him permanently.

Hannibal King?”

The human turned to find his vampire contemplating him from the other bed.  “Hmm?”

“Come here?”

Hannibal went, straddling Drake’s legs.  “Yeah?”

“Were you jealous of that female?”  Drake asked, running his hands over Hannibal’s jean clad thighs.

“Maybe.”

Drake chuckled, falling back against the soft mattress.  Taking his human with him.  “Maybe?”

Hannibal began unbuttoning Drake’s shirt.  “Okay, maybe I was.  Just a little.”

Drake reached up and easily shredded the human’s t-shirt.  “Hmm.”

Hannibal flinched.  “I wish you’d quite tearing my clothes.  I don’t do that to yours.”

Drake flung the pieces away.  “That’s because you enjoy unwrapping me like a gift.  You could at any time shred my clothing to your heart’s contentment.  And I would not mind not all.”

“I do like unwrapping you.”  Hannibal admitted.  “It’s like the best gift ever, every time,” Lowering his head to nuzzle the vampire’s neck.  “I love you, Drake.”

Drake growled softly.  Angling his head to allow his human more access.  The growls becoming louder when Hannibal began nibbling.  “Do it.”

Hannibal sat up, startled.  “What?”

Drake forced his head back down.  “Do it.”

Hannibal fought him.  “Drake, no.”

“You want to.  I can feel it.  I can smell it coming off of you in waves.”

“I’m not a vampire.”

“No.  You are more.  Much, much more.  Feed, Hannibal King.  Feed from me.” Drake hissed arching up when he felt Hannibal’s sharp nail against his neck.  “Do it.”

Hannibal did as his vampire told him.  Slicing into Drake’s skin just below his ear. ”Oh, God, Drake,” He whispered as he delicately licked at the blood oozing from the shallow cut.  “I want you so much.”

Drake growled softly when he felt a warm tongue against his skin.  “Take me then,” He replied holding Hannibal’s head against his neck with one hand.  With the other he went between the human’s legs, guiding him.

Hannibal panted as he slid into Drake until he was flush with his body.  He rested against the vampire’s neck as he became accustomed to the almost painful tightness.  “You’re so tight.  Hurts.” He began a gentle back and forth rhythm.  “Every time is like the first with us?”

“Yes,” Drake cupped his face looking into his eyes.  “Hannibal King you are the only one that can hurt me now.”

Hannibal stopped moving.  “What are you saying?”

“There is no one on this planet that can kill me but you,” Drake replied, nuzzling his cheek.  “You are the only one now who can irretrievably damage me.”

“Drake…”

“Only you.”

Hannibal fought off the tears that flooded his eyes.  “Drake.  You keep surprising me.  Over and over.  I don’t think my heart can take it.”

“It will.”  Drake began nibbling on his earlobe.  and you can.”

Hannibal shivered.  “I….”

“What?”  Drake whispered softly.

“Stop.”

The vampire looked at him in surprise.  “Why?”

Hannibal gave him a tiny smile.  “I can’t think when you do that.”

Drake chuckled.  “You’re not suppose to be thinking right now, Hannibal King.”

Hannibal ducked his head almost shyly. “I know.  It’s just that…”

Drake cupped his face.  “What?”

“I never expected any of this. My life has been one shit feast after another,” Hannibal replied, kissing the vampire’s palm.  “Until now.”

Drake ran his thumb over Hannibal’s lower lip. “And?”

Hannibal took the thumb into his mouth and began nibbling on it.  Watching the vampire’s blue eyes dilate.  “I never expected to fall for the First, and fall hard.  So hard that all I think about is us being together.  I’ll kill anyone that try’s to separate us,” he said fiercely.  “I swear I will.”

“As will I.”

Hannibal looked out into the expensive hotel room his stepfather’s credit card had paid for.  At least the bastard had been good for something besides beating on Hannibal.  Leaving him a sizeable inheritance when he died and in a name Danica and her cretins would never guess.

“I’ve always been so afraid,” he said, bringing his tear filled eyes back up to Drake.

“And now?”

Hannibal smiled at his ruefully.  “You are the deadliest person on the planet and the irony of it is I’m so far from being afraid.  It isn’t even funny.”

“I would never hurt you.”

“I would never survive if you did,” Hannibal admitted softly.  “This is it for me.  It all begins and ends with you.”

Drake cupped his face again in gentle hands.  “Look at me.”  When Hannibal did.  “I would never hurt you,” he repeated again.

“You gave me a kitten.”

“Yes.”

Hannibal swallowed heavily.  “No one’s ever given me anything.  Much less a kitten.  I’m glad it was a kitten though.  After what Danica and her romper room playmates did to those dogs.  I’ll never see dogs the same way,” he replied, shivering dramatically. “Ever again.”

The vampire chuckled softly.  “I can imagine.”

Hannibal blinked the tears from his eyes.  “Every time we make love is like the first time,” he gave the quietly listening vampire a watery smile.  “Everyday with you is a gift I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.”  Hannibal sighed sadly. “Drake?”

“Hmm?”

Hannibal lowered himself until he rested fully against the vampire.  “Can we stay like this for a while? Fuck a little later.  Right now I just want to be with you, just like this.”

Drake ran his hands over Hannibal’s broad back.  Feeling his human’s tears against his neck.  Not fully understanding his melancholy, but willing to do whatever he could to make him feel better.   “Yes, Hannibal King, I think that would be very nice.”
