Twinkling Lights 6

Hannibal caressed Drake's butt with an approving hand.  "Nice."

The vampire's only response was a low growl as he carried his human toward the bedroom.  Tossing Hannibal on the bed and following, he never expected the move his human did.  Flipping in mid air Hannibal ended on top of him.

"Very nice, Hannibal King,” He told him approvingly.  "A move worthy of the First."

Hannibal grinned down at him.  "Yeah, huh?  Drake?" The vampire raised an eyebrow. "Can I... You know..."

Drake smiled at him.  "Which of the 'you knows' do you speak of?"

Hannibal ran a finger down the middle of the vampire's chest.  "Both,"  he asked shyly.

Drake took the wandering hand in his.  "Yes. You may."

Hannibal smiled at him.   "Can I use my new powers?"

"By all means."

Hannibal's smile deepened.  Stretching out his forefinger he allowed the nail to lengthen.  Allowing Drake to guide it to where the vampire wanted to be cut.  Just above the vampire's left nipple Hannibal made a two inch cut with his nail.  Feeling his mouth begin to water at the sight.

"Oh, God-that's almost as hot as when you pounced on me."

Drake chuckled.  "Drink, Hannibal.  Take me as is your right."

"Really?"

Drake nodded.  "Yes.  I am yours as you are mine.  For eternity and beyond."

Hannibal felt his eyes fill with tears.  "God.  I love you, Drake, so very much."

"I know."

Hannibal took a hold of himself, hissing.  If he wasn't careful he was going to come before he had a chance to do anything.  He took some deep calming breaths.  When he was able he positioned himself, sliding into the vampire's body.  He wasn’t as cold as when they'd first met, heat now surrounded his flesh.

"One of these days you're going to tell me face to face that you love me."

Once Hannibal was all the way in Drake wrapped his legs around a narrow waist.  "I have said it."

Hannibal frowned as he lowered himself.  "You have?"

"Yes, you just haven't been listening."

Hannibal blinked.  "Oh.  I'll have to pay better attention then,” he replied, beginning a slow and steady thrusting.

"Yes, you will.  Drink, of me-Hannibal King.  As is also your right."

Following the vampire's urging Hannibal lowered his head.

"Ah, man that was sweet,” Hannibal said weakly, rubbing his head against the vampire's chest.

Drake stretched, feeling his human move slightly inside of him.  “Yes it was.”

Hannibal rested his head against the vampire’s broad shoulder.  “We’ve got to do that more often.”

Drake began to massage his head with the pads of his fingers.  “Yes.”

“We need to move on.”

“Yes.”

Tomorrow?”

Drake stroked his back with his free hand.  “If you wish.”

“We should get up.  We still haven’t done Christmas things.”

“Hmm.”

Hannibal made himself more comfortable against Drake.  Not wanting to pull free of his vampire’s warmth.  Hoping that maybe being inside of him he’d be ready for another round before to long.  Actually knowing he would be as he felt himself begin to harden.

“In a little bit?”

“Hmm.”

“This is for you?”

Drake looked at the box curiously.  “What is it?”

“A Christmas present.”  Drake continued to look at it.  “Aren’t you going to take it?”

“Ah, yes.”

Hannibal watched in amusement as Drake moved the box this way and that.  Examining the bright red bow, even shaking it.  “It is very, nice,” he finally said, holding the unopened package in his open palm.

Hannibal rolled his eyes.  “You’re suppose to open it.”

“Ah.” Drake carefully unwrapped the tiny box.  Opening it he looked up to meet Hannibal’s expectant eyes.  “For me?”

Hannibal nodded.  “For you.”

“It’s very nice,” Drake repeated, softly.

“You’re not just saying that are you?”  Hannibal asked anxiously.

“No.  I always say what I mean.”

“Will you wear it?”

Drake tilted his head as he contemplated his human.  “Does it mean that much to you, Hannibal King?”

“Yes.”

“Then I shall wear it.”

Saying that Drake pulled out the large gold band and placed it on the ring finger of his left hand.

“You’re mine for real now, Drake and no one else’s.”

The vampire gently caressed the side if Hannibal’s face with his left hand, admiring the ring.  It really was very nice.  And obviously had deep meaning for his human.

“There was never a doubt about that, Hannibal King.”

Hannibal smiled at him.  “I love you, Drake.”

Drake returned it.  “I know.”

Hannibal rolled his eyes.  “Geez.”

Drake chuckled, pulling Hannibal to him, kissed him on the lips.   “I also have something for you to celebrate this day called Christmas.”

Hannibal’s eyes widened.  “You got me something?  When did you have time to get me something?  We’re always together.”

“When you went to use the facilities.”

“When I went to the bathroom?”

Drake nodded, going into the closet and pulling out a box with large holes cut out of it.  “Yes.”

“But how did you get it home without me seeing?”  Drake smiled at him.  “Ah, another secret.”

“Yes, Hannibal King.  Here is your gift.”

Hannibal took the box, opening it he looked at the vampire an odd look on his face.  “Drake, you didn’t give me a dead…”

Drake chuckled softly. “No, Hannibal King.  It sleeps”

Hannibal ran his hands over the soft fur of the kitten sleeping soundly in the box.  “You’ve had him sleeping this whole time.”

“Not that long.  A day or two at most.  No harm came to him.”

“Wake him for me, please.”

Drake reached a hand into the box, running a finger over the kitten’s head.  The tiny kitten yawned widely.  Earning a chuckle from the human and vampire alike.  The kitten yawned again and opened what turned out to be green eyes.

“He’s beautiful, Drake. How did you know I wanted a kitten?”

“It might have been the way you were staring into the place with all the animals and sighing.”

I’ve always wanted a pet, but I’ve never been in a place that was stable enough to have one.”

Drake smiled at him.  “Are you in a stable place now, Hannibal King?”

Hannibal gently stroked his kitten.  “Yeah, I think we are.  We’re leaving Oakland tomorrow, to keep ahead of Danica and her goons.  Who want to kill us or at least me.  I’ve got one of the best lovers I’ve ever had in my life.  Who I love very much. And I’ve got a kitten.”  he smiled at Drake.  “Two out of three ain’t bad.  So yeah, compared to the way my life’s been-yeah-it’s pretty stable.”

“Do you want to watch your twinkling lights for a while?”

“Yeah, that’d be great.  You’ll hold me?”

Drake pulled Hannibal into his arms.  “For the rest of eternity, Hannibal King.  For the rest of eternity.
